Nintendo starts preparing for its new
consoles launch on November 18
Nintendo recently started showing off it's new Wii U in over
5,000 stores across the United States and has begun advertising it everywhere.
At the booths, you will be able test out a fully functional Wii U and play
games like Nintendo Land, New Super Mario Bros. U, SiNG PARTY, ZombiU, and
Rayman Legends. Some of the participating retailers are Target, Best Buy,
GameStop, and Wal-Mart. Also, Nintendo decided to do an un-boxing video that features none other than Nintendo’s president Satoru Iwata.

Japanese Fans Name Shoujo Anime That
Men Shouldn’t Miss
Normally, when people think of Shoujo Anime they think of “chick
flicks” that focus more on a woman demographic (between the ages of 10-18).
Biglobe Anime asked their readers to name an anime that guys would have no
problem watching alongside girls (or by themselves). Here is what people came
up with:
- Fruit basket
- Chihayafuru
- Nodame Cantabile
- My Little Monster
- Uta no Prince-sama
- Kamisama Kiss
- Kimi ni todoke - From Me To You
- Say I Love You
- Card Captor Sakura
- Shugo Chara
I don’t know
about you guys but I've actually been really into My Little Monster and Say I
Love You. They have a good mix between romance and comedy. I’m not a very big Shoujo anime fan myself, but these two shows have
really kept me entertained. To see the rest of the list head on over to BigLobe.

Another Gaming Magazine Comes to an
End
Just a couple months have passed since Nintendo ceased publication
of Nintendo Power and now Playstation: The Official Magazine will also be
closing its doors. Future US announced that the final issue is slated for the
Holiday 2012 edition. It’s somewhat sad to see these magazines go but times
have changed. Most of the media we consume is through the internet or television.
